The DIY Love Potion "perfume bar" is designed to celebrate the essence of the bride while being a personal touch. This is a fun way for each guest to make and take home a custom perfume party gift. I have listed items you can purchase at craft/on-line perfume supplies stores to help in creating it. The perfume consisted of mixing grape seed oil/fragrance, along with other essential oils, together to create a sweet perfume mixture. I went to a local essential oil shop in Pasadena and picked up an array of the most popular scents. Lavender, Gardenia, Nectarine, Red Rose, and Vanilla were purchased to create a custom mixture. It was then poured into apothecary jars with Grape Seed oil and 1-2 drop of fragrance/essential oil. I displayed the apothecary bottle on top of a beautiful makeup tray to finish the overall look. The guest bottles can even be personalized with Bride’s monogram. You can create your own monogram by going to Weddingchicks.com to print a free template, or Fiverr to customize your own monogram. I included the easy instructions below that you can frame for your guests to follow. This will help each guest determine their fragrance personality while suggesting the best perfume blends for them create.
Items you will need:
*Bottle of Grape Seed Oil
*6-8 essential oil or fragrance oil
*6-8 4oz Apothecary Jars
*Pipettes (50 in a package)
*Perfume Bottle (Dram Vials or Sample Vials)
*Perfumer's Funnels
*Perfume Test Stripe
*Container (To hold Test Stripe and pipettes)
*2-3 Make-up Tray
*3 Pictures frame (Bride Monogram, Engagement Picture, and DIY instruction)
*Box (lift your frame)
*Vintage Perfume bottle (optional display)

DIY Perfume "Love Potion" Instruction (Handmade Love Potion)
1) Perfume are made up of 3 different Note
*Top Note
First Impression
*Middles Note
Heart of your perfume comes to life after the Top Note has evaporated
*Base Note
Last to perceive
2) Pick 3 notes (top, middle, and base)
3) Pick 3 Sense that you would like to smell and test.
4) Grab 1 Perfume tester Stripe.
The tester is divided in 3 sections.
(Note **if you guest like the first set you created. You can try it out again on the second set right below it.)
5) Use the pipette and dab the note on the tester on 3 different sections (top, middle, and base) < >Test your scent to your desire
6) Pick a perfume bottle
7) Use the pipette to squeeze the notes up to the first line into the perfume bottle
8) **2 drop top notes,
