Adriana & Mark's Chic Bayside Wedding

An Intimate Traditional Catholic church ceremony and a chic Bayside wedding has us wishing every wedding can be just as festive and fun as this one! Adriana wore a fit and flare voluminous tulles Maggie Sottero gown that hugged her body with matching lush white and pink peonies and a garden roses bouquet. Adriana and Mark were chauffeured in a 1956 Bentley that really set the tone for their special day. It was all beautifully captured by Dan Rice Photography, making for some of the most artistic and beautiful photography for the bride and groom! Their Chic and Glamorous Wedding had our full attention!

The Wedding

Adrina & Mark

What does your dream wedding look like? For Adriana and Mark it meant an intimate, relaxed, and fun, fun, fun beachside celebration in her hometown of San Diego. Surrounded by stunning scenery, amazing weather and loved ones, their destination fete was beautifully captured by Dan Rice Photography. Adriana and Mark met in New York City, but knew their life together was best meant to start and be lived in San Diego. We envisioned a wedding weekend that would be personal, emotional, chic with just enough glamour and lots of fun! With over 100 out of state guest joining us for the weekend we planned a beachside Mexican fiesta and a not so traditional rehearsal dinner where we hosted all out of state immediate family to a cocktail dinner.

Ceremony

The day of their wedding couldn't have been any more perfect. From our traditional Catholic ceremony to our beachside reception everything exceeded our expectations, and we have our vendors, family, and friends to thank for that. Some of my favorite moments were walking into the church escorted by my father as Canon In D was being played by a pianist. Merging some traditional Mexican Catholic traditions such as the Lazo into our ceremony and having a family friend pastor marry us, i couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony.

The Blushing Details

Reception

At our reception I wanted to create a boho glam feel with luxurious flower arrangements full of bright colors and beautiful leafy greenery throughout. Gold touches to add to our #CaliforniaLove feel was implemented throughout. We wanted to create an atmosphere that was personal, memorable and most importantly fun! Getting everyone on the dance floor enjoying themselves was our goal. We really wanted to treat our guest to the finest local craft beers, wines, fresh seafood and a beautiful dinner that did not feel like you were being served cafeteria food. We stuck to classic lobster and steak.

Mixing our cultures was important too, so we had a live mariachi band playing during cocktail hour and for the father daughter dance. It was also important to us to greet every single table at our reception and thank them for attending.

Friends

Lastly, before the dance party stated we shared a video that Mark created as our thank you to our friends and family and after that video was payed there were no dry eyes in the room! Overall the unrehearsed day went as perfect as it could have gone!
